Rich and textured, with lovely up-front fruit and a racy, exuberant personality, the 2018 is a joy to taste, even in the early going. Light tropical notes, almond, lemon confit and chamomile are some of the many notes that grace this exquisite, inviting Chablis.

Antonio Galloni's Vinous.com: 91-93/100 The 2018 Chablis Vaillons 1er Cru, blended from six parcels, is pure, focused and taut, all while expressing the natural richness of the year. Lemon confit, white flowers, white pepper, mint and a kiss of French oak add striking aromatic top notes to match the wine's linear, energetic feel. The Vaillons has a surprising amount of freshness and lift, with bright saline notes that extend the finish. This is a fine showing.

Antonio Galloni's Vinous.com: 91-93/100 The 2018 Chablis Vaillons Cuvée Guy Moreau 1er Cru emerges from a single parcel of vines planted in 1933 - the domaine's oldest. Rich, creamy and ample with a real sense of phenolic intensity, the Guy Moreau is a decidedly potent Chablis built on texture and weight. I imagine it will need at least a few years in bottle, but there is plenty of character and a lot to look forward to. The 2018 was vinified and aged in equal parts steel and oak. This is an especially rich, big wine that will continue to develop in the coming years.

Antonio Galloni's Vinous.com: 92-94/100 The 2018 Chablis Valmur Grand Cru is subtle, nuanced and very pretty. Orchard fruit, chamomile, light honeyed notes and an accent of French oak all run through this pliant, racy Valmur. Soft edges add to the wine's considerable immediacy and overall appeal. The 2018 was done in equal parts steel and oak. This is very nicely done !

Antonio Galloni's Vinous.com: 93-95/100 The 2018 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru is airy and gracious, with added layers of textural richness and depth. Apricot, citrus confit, crushed rocks, oak and light tropical overtones add character to this beautifully layered, nuanced Clos. A Chablis of reserve and class, the 2018 has a very bright future, as suggested by the floral, tightly wound finish. The 2018 was done 60% in steel and 40% in oak.
